Nice Spot, Hardley, Southampton

A Britstops location but I reckon anyone could just chat to the pub folk and park up, have a meal and you are good for the night. Pretty big car park. The food isn't too bad, although a little pricey perhaps for Pub Grub that hasn't gone all the way to Pub Gourmet food (posh pub grub).

I grew up in this area. Had a nice lunch with my Mum at The Forest Home a few weeks ago. Not stayed here in the van but have stayed at
The Turfcutters Arms, East Boldre, https://www.the-turfcutters-new-forest.co.uk/ good food and music nights. Both locations handy for the New Forest where wildcamping is not possible.

Thanks @UFO - That looks like a good spot and also on Britsops, we are testing / using / configuring our new to us (old) bus that we have purchased and going to places not to far from home initially for overnight stays so that would be a good one too, we are based in Chichester now but going up North as soon as the house is sold, well going on a big #vanlife adventure first, all being well, UK and Ireland.
