What did you do to your van today?

Wheels off, de-stoned, cleaned inside and out, alloys polished, checked pressures then swapped side to side and refitted.

Drove from Bilbao to a good free aire at Zaragoza. Found that my fridge is still not working on gas. Two nights on ferry with fridge off meant that the gas needed to bring the temp down. Its now higher than it was when I left the ferry.

No offense but if your capable strip the fridge switch you’ll probably find the fault is there, when I say switch I mean the main 240/12/gas selector switch

Thanks, but people much more competitent than me have been working on the fridge over the last few months. Dometic engineers included. The switches have been changed as has the burner. It sometimes works but is not reliable.

After scratching .my head , a very kind lady member sorted out my cheap Chinese tracker for me . so today I fitted it I my van .Thanks very kind lady member.

Just collected mine from the dealer, new tablet control panel fitted and all looks good. The new panel took 12 days to arrive from France which wasn’t to bad.
They did an oil and filter change as a gesture of goodwill so well pleased. It’s only done 4,000 miles but I was going to get it changed at 5,000 so that’s saved me a few quid. I have to say Robsons the Pilote dealer at Wolsingham are first class and in a different league to leisure world group or Catterick Caravans as they used to be called from who I bought my Swift rot box a few years ago.
I'm feeling fairly reasonable at present and have until next Thursday free before I‘m in Hospital for investigations into my heart problems so may well head out for a few days to the lakes.

Today I inspected its arse end...
On returning a few days ago from the Bugsworth meet I deliberately parked with its backside facing the prevailing wind and rain with the hope it would act like a power washer.
Despite all my efforts of watching from the comfort of my window....it's still full of road shit!

Went outside to it to get some caramel biscuits and packet of maltesers that were in the fridge, only to find them already gone......

My son has a bad habit of raiding it at night for any left over goodies from a trip that he can find , including any bottles of beer :mad::mad:
Grandsons are worse....
He's nicked all the crisps!
