Congratulations ....... By and large the details in the OP's blog article are correct ref treatment, with one rather prominent error ... the photo is not of a bedbug "Cimex lectularia" but of a harmless leaf bug! (Family Miridae) ....a totally different kettle of fish!

I was in a b&b one night and had to complain in the morning about a dead flea in the bedding, landlady said a dead bug wont do you any harm, yes I said but 10.000 came to the funeral.
