Calais stopover January ?

We have stopped overnight at Wisent after leaving Calais but have heard that bikes are being stolen off the back of vans quite often. I’m not sure we would stay there for longer anyway.

As far as I can remember, the bikes were stolen from a van who parked in a field opposite the aire when it was full. We park in Wissant often, with bikes, and have never had a problem.
There are nice free and paid aires away from Calais.
We have used Wissant ( free) Tardinghen farm (near to Wissant, about €8) Quend Plage ( 8 or 9) Le Crotoy (7) and Nouvion ( free). There are dozens about if you look on Campercontact or Camperstop.
