Does the Sargent C460 charge the vehicle battery as well as the leisure?

I‘ve been meaning to ask this for ages as the Sargent manual is inconclusive on this matter.

In one place it implies that the mains charger will charge the leisure battery and then switch over the charge the vehicle battery, but seems to contradict this in another place.

I have once come out and noticed the vehicle battery low even though the ‘van is connected to mains. That’s why I checked the manual.

I would think so because the EC400/EC450 systems do. Try downloading the EC400 / EC450 System Smart Charging Guide from their website https://sargentltd.co.uk/tech-support/article/System-User-Manuals/22

It all depends on the wiring.

To check
a) Remove EHU
b) Cover Solar
c)) Use a meter (or use the build in meter if you have one) to find vehicle battery voltage.
d) Reconnect EHU
e) Wait a couple of hours (or better yet overnight)
f) repeat c

Thanks. That definitely indicates that both should be charged. The one instance of low vehicle battery voltage implies that something is amiss.
