Any help here, please. All fuses are in tact. Mains hook up charges the leisure battery. Solar panel charges leisure battery. Fault only occurs when engine is running. No amps shown on ammeter.
Complete mystery.

Where is the ammeter?
The mains charge is supplied by an inbuilt charger unit on the Electrobloc.
Your solar is most likely wired direct to the leisure batteries from solar controller.
The van engine charging of the leisure batteries is via a D+ signal to the Electrobloc from the van alternator, is the 12 volt operation of the fridge working when the engine is running?

When you say all fuses are intact have you checked the 2A and 50A fuse, they are located near the leisure battery, also when you say no charge showing on ammeter if the leisure battery is full it will not show a charge

When I had an Elektroblock fuses were also found at the engine battery end of the cables that run from it to the Ebl.

Thanks for feedback. Solar charge goes via the Electroblok. It’s fuse is there and when removed ammeter shows current flowing. Fridge works on 12v when engine is running.

Ammeter is above the habilitation rear door. Solar charge goes via the Electroblock via its discrete fuse, which when removed shows a current flowing on test.

Thanks for reply. Fuses near leisure battery are 10A and 50A. Charge shows on ammeter from hook up not engine.

Thanks for reply. Leisure battery not full. On mains hook up charging at some 8amps. Immediately turnover to engin charging === nothing showing.

Thanks. Ammeter above habitation door. Charge from engine goes via Electroblok. Fridge charging. Leisure battery not.

Have you checked the output from the alternator?, if you haven't got a meter to check it put your lights/heater blower on full and wipers on then start the engine, if the lights glow brighter when it is started the alternator is ok but not necessarily charging the leisure battery, as already stated you need to check the D+ signal from the alternator, the alternator on a motorhome works a lot harder than one on a car, failures are therefore more common, ideally get a multimeter to check

2002 Hymer Classic - I had exactly this problem - no charging of LB when driving. Found out it was a connection to one of the fuses above the starter battery. I pushed the wires up towards the fuses. I think it was the thick red one, but can't be sure, but one of them fixed it (and it lasted 3 months 8000+ km around France).

That 10 amp fuse should be 2 amp and is for the charging circuit. This website may help and they repair EBL chargers.
