Felixstowe seafront soon to be a no overnight spot ?

The illustrative photo the paper chooses to use has a caravan, a trailor tent, and a single motorhome.

I don't doubt the story and thanks for posting the warning, but in my mind it's lazy journalism.

Again the suggestion of a number of bays for motorhomes, chargeable and limited to 48 hours has been made. IMO the best solution. Will it happen????

Hi all. To be honest. I can understand why the residents complain. To me. If you park up in places like that then you don't abuse it. No chairs tables etc set up. No awnings etc out on roadside. We used to use leysdown /shell ness sea front prom quite a bit. For the last 30 years. Now when you go there quite often there are all sorts of vehicles there. With BBQ. Awnings. Tables chairs all set up on the roadside. To me. You want to set these things up. There is miles of beach to do this. Not in a lay-bys/ roadside. Proms. How would we feel if a vehicle. Even car. Parked in front of our house and set up chairs /BBQs on pavement etc.
