Grey waste blockage

Hi all
My grey waste tank appears to be blocked. What's the best way to clear it out?
Fiat Ducato Swift Sundance 1998 (aka Bertha).
Cheers, Sue

Hi we managed to plug ours with coffee grounds. Resolved by putting hose in outlet and back flushing. Can be messy. after that ran clean water through for a few minutes

Something long thin and very flexible to start , you can buy thin brushes for cleaning pipes etc ( possibly for brewing ?)

i assume its the waste tap or pipework

You could try zip ties if you dont have anything else to hand and if not long enough join a couple together and get poking with the tap open

Also waste tanks often have an inspection hatch so you can access the inside

I don't think Bertha does. The grey waste tank is a big bugger underneath the rear wheels. I've never really paid it much mind TBH except for emptying it when I suppose it's nearly full. The gage has never worked so I just guess. Paying for that blasé attitude now though. I know there's plenty of gunk in there, but when I released the pipe and opened the valve, nothing happened. Uh oh.

Mine was cleared by putting a length of fairly stiff wire up the outlet and wiggling it about we pulled out a furball and it’s been fine since.
