Does anyone of an auto electrician in & around Leeds that works on motorhomes. Problem is not charging the leisure battery enough given we have 400w of solar & only charges 6amps at most. I need to get around the hymer system.
 
Might be better looking on MCEA to avoid complications.

I have a good one based in Bradford and another near Halifax the latter is better.
 
You mustn't listen to gossip from them there Lancashire hotpots.

I had a 2015 Hymer Mercedes and had difficulty getting the leisure battery charged. Turned out it had a smart alternator but no booster/B2B. Other than that the electrics were very good with a proper 50A connection between the engine and leisure batteries.
 
50a cable seems low to me I think i had 25mm2 on mine over 1.5metres with 100a fuse
