Norway Sweden and Finland trip summer 2020

We went in 2016 and are thinking of going again in 2021.
the likely 3 month time limit is a minor disadvantage.
We spent 3.5 months going slowly through France etc to Hirtsals and again slowly back from the 2 H's to Calais.
We went to Nordkapp then Finland and the E45 in Sweden
Kirkenes is a bit further but still OK (IMO)
However by not spending 2 nights in places on the way to your point of entry for Scandinavia and also driving say another 50 to 100 miles a day.on some days ....It is all do-able.
My preferred route is to use the 2 "big Bridges" to Malmo
But a combination of 1 bridge and a ferry (Puttgarden Rodby) may help.
We spent 4 or 5 days in Denmark driving to Hirtsals in Denmark and although this give a good crossing to Kristiansund it takes more time out of Norway/Sweden/Finland.

On this route, normally I would use the Puttgarden-Rödby ferry, then Öresundsbron. Carefully choosing times, and pre-booking the boat can save quite a bit of money. If this route is used, theres a good stellplatz at Heiligenhafen. Even if paying for it requires a degree in astrophysics….:)

Average speeds in Norway can be unbelievably low. Locals usually use times between places rather than distance.

Some people use Fredrikshamn-Gothenburg instead of Hirtshals-Kristiansand. An alternative, perhaps?

Other than that, I'm in full agreement with jagmanx.
