Weather Report..................

Well the early morning torrential rain has stopped and its now just wet, windy and 'horrible, I doubt Paul will be venturing out 😂
Paul did venture out, early doors.
The weather was damp, gloomy and dismal.
So was Paul.
Paul is not overimpressed with your climate.
We're at Trafford Hospital tomorrow morning .
That probably won't be a bunch of fun..
Mustn't grumble..
Just 2 more sleeps.

Hope the hospital visit goes ok ready for your return to warmer climes, I'm sorry we couldn't do better with the weather, maybe try in summer next time, or maybe not 😂

Actually, Dave, ...
After spending the last 20 summers based in Altrincham, there's not that much to call an improvement.
We always left The Algarve in late Spring, as we were advised that prolonged high temperatures would cause problems for Jenny's Insulin use.. Especially having to rely on the van fridge to keep it safe.
Illness and vanlessness changed our whole way of thinking. We really enjoyed our summer.
Having no plans to replace the van, after 20 hectic, helter skelter
years , is proving quite attractive.
We always said, " How could we ever manage without the van, escape pod, spare bedroom, crew bus, delivery van and holiday home from home ..? ".
Now we're finding out.
It's so easy flying in, doing the biz, seeing loved ones, cremating old ones....
We might just have to grow up and act our age.
Meanwhile, it's nowt to write home about outside our window.
We were hoping to try the Spanish Bodega, to night... But Wetherspoons is nearer... And it's Steak night.

Last full day here in lovely Palm Desert, unbroken sunshine again and should get to 31 degrees. Tomorrow we may get to see a few clouds as we head to San Diego.
It’s been a little above normal temperature recently, but is falling to more normal mid 20s just after we leave. By January a bit chilly with an average high of only 20 or so. We’ll come back in March when it’s nice and warm again. ☀️☀️☀️

It’s good to hear that the transition has had positive sides, enjoy your steak .....

Cold here, though not as cold as it was in Scotland last night. Minus whatever... Brrrr!

Looks set to be fair today, barely a cloud in the sky 5 mins ago. Not exactly sunbathing weather, but the sun being out makes all the difference.

Neil came with me to horsepittle yesterday. Was peeing down and definitely furry hat weather, so we called into a local cafe on the way back for tea and cake etc. mmmm 😋 😋
