A balmy 8 degrees this morning, dry at least but rain to come. 🌥🌧️

More rain . I reckon whoever controls that tap in the sky has been on holiday in Cheshire and left the bliddy thing turned on.

Well it might be grey but we’ve found the stop tap ......................... for now, oh yes, it’s a bit milder as well

Different day, different weather.
12 clear Degrees. .. Good news.

The Olive crop is spread around the neighbourhood, following overnight gusts of 49 mph. .. Not so good news.

We've had so much rain that the ground is now diggable. Management wants a Jasmine plant moving ... More bad news.

It's snagged up in the roots of the Olive tree and I'll probably kill it... Any tips ?

It's 24°C, sunny and still here in Playa Taurito.
The flora, including this hibiscus, seems to be enjoying the sun:



To me it looks particularly smug.

We will have an identical one, on our terrace, if the sun stays out and the weather holds.
Lunch outdoors, Pomegranate tree cropped and pruned, this morning.
Relaxing now as the whole Whovel basks in the aroma of cooking Xmas Cake.
Must remind myself to hide the best port and brandy.

You need to cut it back hard beforehand and try and get as much root growth as possible to give it a fighting chance ........

Looks like we had some surprise light rain overnight..
Very humid, this morning 15 degrees and hazy.
Monthly Gipsy market , down the lane. Judging by the BBQ smoke drifting up, the breeze is unusually southerly.
I suppose we'll have to go down and sample some..

It's very blue and about 24°C here in Playa Taurito. The air is still and waves are breaking gently on the beach below.
And I don't feel smug.

We decided to lunch outside, at 16 fair degrees.
The wind changed, blowing the salad off our plates.. Monster grey clouds shuffled over us.
We're indoors with the heating on.
I blame that Bing Crosby..!
Ever since the Radio 4 Today programme played his new release, White Xmas, the weather has got worse.
For sale..
One heavy duty , industrial strength, Smug filter..
Hardly used, surplus to requirements..
Guaranteed to work in every one of The Canary Islands.

Sunny and clear but a nice breeze !

With the possibility of of it going as low as 12 in early December.
Apart form the odd thunderstorm rain unlikely for several weeks.
The locals have all harvested their rice crop and it is out for drying on most of the available spare land and in some cases on one half of a rural road !
