Window insulation

Made a set of these a while ago to fit all my windows .Its two layers of aluminium bubble wrap .Ive just had to re-edge them with duck tape as they where starting to delaminate but they work a treat.

How do you keep them in the window

They are a tight fit so don’t move .

How do you reinforce them ?

They don’t need reinforcing they are quite stiff

Yes, something light and easy to use on side windows and rear is very good.
I have a project in mind.
We use an external silver screen/blind on the windscreen. This does 3 jobs
No 1 keeps us cool when it is sunny
No 2 gives us privacy
No 3 provides some insulation at night.
We have internal silver screens bit they are a pain !
Something similar between the external screen and the windscreen and cab windows would be good.
Also useful on the habitation windows..
To keep us cool or warm
Like a thermos flask...how does it know ?

I swear by Girraffe Tape, it trumps Duck and Gorrilla Tape anyday !
