Drinking Water Poll

Thought that this may be interesting to see

We have a container we fill at the house and carry it with us to drink from ,in France we have bought bottled water and transferred into our vessel
interesting poll bill

Cant really answer in poll as we use different water for different use.
For cold drinks we use our own home bottled water and purchased bottled water
For Tea or Coffee, we use boiled water from bottles which we have filled anywhere on travels
For cleaning teeth or washing salads, we use our tank water

Similarly we use different water for different things. I think straight cold drinking water would be the poll response.

We have a 400l + stainless steel tank. The tank and plumbing are sterilised each year with Milton‘s. We dump the contents before each trip and fill with fresh.

Don’t use the water from tank for drinking or cooking. Bring some from house with some bottled water thrown in depends how long the trip is.

We have a water carrier that we keep for drinking but we’re surprised in France Italy this year not to be able to find 5 litre water bottles that we also buy. Had to get 6 packs of 1.5 litres.

We have a filter jug in the fridge for drinking, even hot drinks.

We have a one micron filter on the kitchen cold tap. Simple enough to change the cartridge, as long as I remember to switch the water pump off and then run some water out to reduce the pressure.

We’re not fussy. We use the water in the tank for everything but buy bottled water as a back up in winter in case we can’t find anywhere to fill the tank.

I drink water straight from my tank but only because I know the tank is new,my previous mh I didn't because the tank was over 30 years old and possibly still had remnants from the plague.

As others we drink bottled water but fill bottles with tap water from home then wherever i can see a good clean tap for tea and coffee. We dont drink water from our tank but do use it for cooking if boiled during cooking, pasta etc.
