You are in an excellent area. In 2011 all Aberdeenshire sites were put out to franchise and it appears to have worked. Regrettably the "auld codgers" concessionary rates disappeared which were very generous.

I spend a lot of time in Scotland I'm in portobello now love it have loads of friends up here always making new ones
Done NC500 loads of times always new discoveries though
The new planter boxes now put in kings road beach carpark portobello don't help us for parking
I see alot of people have taken to musselburgh promenade now must say though it's a lot quieter at night

I've noticed too more and more no overnight restrictions coming in Scotland no overnight parking signs and hight barriers springing up everywhere hope this is not the beginning of the end
Not good for the economy and tourism or us

What's the feeling up there about the virus? Are MHomers frowned upon because they may be spreading it or are they more worried about the hit on their economy?

We never experienced any hassle in fact made more than welcome
Champion ! 👍👍👍
I'm heading up to Applecross and Skye starting Thursday as long as motorhome is back from dealer, having temp repair done to window as leaking in so the dealer tells me. New seals and wall board ordered from Pilote for permanent fix in near future.

It must be good, they're filming the new series of Peaky Blinders in Portsoy later in the year !

One of our favourites!
Seriously thinking of loading the wagon and disappearing into a remote corner while this dratted virus disappears!!

I've always found them friendly we are up there every year, missed half term this year so won't be up there till Easter.
