INot been to good on this, but after some effort they are now better.
However more is needed.
What should I use please.
I attach pictures of the best(front) and the worst(rear).
Thanks.
As we are full-timing wheel removal is not a good option!
Quite happy to improve the rear to better than the front.
A "Full Monty" is not necessary.

To be honest, that is as good as you will get. Can't clean rust away.

Personally, if it were my vehicle, I would buy a set of full wheel trims to replace the centre hub covers.

Look here my friend Bilt Hamber

Despite the name they are a UK company who specialise in rust/anti-corrosion and protection of vehicles.

Probably start with this Deox Gel

Then apply one of the protection products. Hope this helps. Jenrai
Thanks Dave,
Nice to have a 2nd option.
In touch with Bilt H

I think I got the trims for my 2010 Renault Master on eBay?
You can make them look a bit OEM with some Renault centres e.g. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/353968089860?

I honestly would not spend much time and money on products to make Steel wheels look tidy. You'll be fighting a losing and very frustrating battle.
The only longer-term solution is to have them blasted and then power-coated, but that is not something that would work for you as you will be without wheels for at least 24 hours on the very fastest turnround.

A can of wheel silver and a tin of tyre black sorted.

Thanks David ,
Yes that is best but as you post not viable. Also costly ?
So mix and match. Attack the rust to prevent more and also wheel trims.

Looking at wheel trims...
I have found some that cover the whole of the wheel so no ventilation.
To me They look better than the fancy ones but the wheels have holes (see post 1) which may be needed to help cool the brakes.
So maybe I need trims which allow airflow ?

Wheel trims will not fit as the central hub does not allow.
A can of "smooth Hammerite silver apply direct to rust" has been used to paint the wheels.
Looks good !
Nida does the painting otherwise. We would have "silver edged tyres"

Hi Mr JM,

Search Amazon/Ebay for van/truck wheeltrims I got them for my Pug & Transit conversions, after, getting the wrong type and them not fitting.

About £20 delivered, I will look updetails if you need me too.

The ones I use appear identical to those used on Autosleeper conversions but a lot cheaper I would think.

Cheers
