Not been up since the games at Tomintoul (Highest village in the highlands, Wanlockhead is the highest in Scotland) so missing it a bit but I found these little snippets to keep me going.

Same as any other website URL Trev, just right click it copy then paste it

Your reading level is SHOITE Trev, that is not Scotland, the thread is Scotland do keep up or I'll have to tell nurse to up your meds again

Easy to remove just click edit, and back space leave a couple of dots or just type deleted.

I could understand the very thick accent (to English ears) anyway.

2 ways on linux one is as you do or download a program called freetube, bit of faffing about but works. (y)

No right click and copy and paste, you need to get with the program lad get win10 installed, let them do their worst, woo woo.

Don't you mean Unix
No, unix was the first sys, linux uses its own kernal and has done so for years, it was developed from the unix idea, time for you to read up on whats going on big ears Lol, this site you are on now is linux and one of the best.
Why dont you grab and old 64 bit l top or pc and boot over to have a poke around and see what you are missing, you own it and its yours to do as you like, you never own a windows sys even though you have paid for it, now with win 11 they own the lot, or did until the courts got them again in USA, now they have to provide a key to let folk load linux, boy have they tried over the years.

Thanks Trev, no I'll stick with win10 for now until I'm forced to upgrade to Win11, I have tried one of them in the past but clunky didn't describe it, I do have a couple of spare laptops I just don't see the point.

Back up lad back up, do try lite and i will help you, not clunky but does require some small bit of tinkering once installed, removal of icons on screen, keyboard change from usa to uk and download of restricted extras, removal of dust bin from main screen and then added to task bar,
This makes a clean screen rather than a mess of icons which i detest, anyway keep well and safe.

No chance, if I was to do that then I'd be like a clone of you. I and the forums couldn't cope with that :D :D

Do you still go on Owners much?

Yes about once a day if I can, very qt site and the truth is I don't know too many on there or if they like yourself are on here, seems to be a we-click at times, first sites I used was this and DIY camper way back at the start of my build, the craic on here is good, I am also a member of the Irish craic site but don't use it much, a strange lot the Irish LOL.

Dead most of the time, a couple on there I have no time for, I look in now and then and Simon sometimes alerts me if there is anything I can help with, but it's never been lively, I did my best when I was looking after it but it became too stressful to keep coming up with threads, and there only being half a dozen people bothering to post and why I stepped down, some good peeps still on there though.
