We have only paid for 2 nights to park up by the sea when it was over 40C. Otherwise, travelling through Greece and in Turkey, all free park ups. Motorhoming in Turkey is just so easy. Cheap diesel and LPG. Roads are good. Villages wide. Loads of free water points.
Just left Cappodichia. Pic is one of our views.

Moved SW today, to the city of Troyes, what a stunning city very cosmopolitan, lovely old style Street full of shops bars and restaurants, we have parked about 10 minutes away from the city centre on a tarmac car park backed on to a river, when we got here there was only us,now there are 9 vans. Here are some pictures of the town

look up guedelon jeff it’s about 75 miles in a line as your coming past Auxerre the castle featured on the tv series secrets of the castle, it’s styled on a 13th century castle built in a quarry they mine the stone cut all the timber even make their own rope paint &ti;es been on it since about 1990 won’t be finished for another ten years it’s a good day out we’ve been twice , parking on site but no overnight plenty of aires about

Here is today stopover, and another stunning aire, we are parked on the beautiful marina, lots of boats with a bar/restaurant at the entrance and very peaceful, 10 euro a night including electric

As you may have noticed, the sum has disappeared but still 25 degrees today, it has forecast thunderstorms for tonight and tomorrow, the solar panels need a good wash, so that is one job less for me

Woke up this morning to heavy rain and thunder, decided to move, we drove south west for a couple of hours also called at Super U supermarket to stock up with supplies then landed at this place just after lunch, 26 degrees and the sun is out, but what a stunning place near a lake lots of dog walks for Roxy, and best of all it is Free, looks like we will be spending a few days here before we head to another on of our favourite Aires, Chateau l archer

Wully we are in France now, the French name for onion ring is Calamari and was very nice, washed down with a bottle of vin blanc,
