The lease on my Smart car finishes at the end of September so I have now been looking for a replacement. I have been searching lease deals and considered buying a used car. This got me thinking...

What would my dream car be?

What car would I drive if I could buy any car?

The answer is most likely a Range Rover.

What would your dream car be?

I would love to have my very first car again, a Triumph Spitfire mk111.

If money was no object though, I would probably have a Range Rover Sport and a Porsche Boxster. My last car was a Boxster and I loved it, it was plenty powerful enough and I wouldn't see any point in going up to the much more expensive 911.

Being realistic though, our next car will most likely be a hybrid family saloon.

Having watched a programme on the tv.
I would have a Mercedes G wagon.

I'm very happy with what I have.
A 2013 Ford Fiesta 1.6 tdci Titanium Econetic.
It's got an adequate range of technology built in, is low cost, low maintenance and reliable (should I have said that?).
I'm easily satisfied as far as material things go and view all cars as simply boxes on wheels intended to take people from A to B safely.
Yes, I'm boring.

Colin :):):)

I keep trying to buy Julie a Fiesta Ecoboost Colin.
Amazing performance and economy for a 1 litre engine and not really much to fault it.

She says she'd rather stick with her old Peugot 207 until it finally gives up the ghost. It has been very reliable I must admit, and we don't worry about parking it at Tesco and somebody bashing a trolley against it.

I suppose as long as she's happy with it, I can't complain really.

loved all my vehicles i have owned.............however, my MG midget, and nissan prairie were top of the list.

i would love to have nissan prairie again.............sport car yes....but would not be much use to me now........

If money were no object... not one car but different ones for different purposes:

For fun and sunny days - Convertible Jag
For big shopping trips and transporting dogs - estate such as Merc E class
Tatty small van for taking stuff to the dump etc
Small run around such as Skoda Citi or Toyota Aygo

Not too much to ask surely!

Best car ever was a midget with downton stage II head.

Dream- Ferrari, R8 or 911 in that order.

Concorde RV - not sure how long I would last with the size though!!!!!

Zzzzzzzzzxx

A mark one or two Rangey, a older G wagon, a Unimog with a camper body on it, a nice Audi A6, newer than ours ((2002) a Bessacarr E745 2 berth, A Heritage Softail Classic Harley, about two years old, and not too pimped up, I'd like to try a smart car to see if we could both fit in it without it falling oer, a NEW Chevy Camaro RHD, a Old Chevy/Ford pickup 50/60/70s.

Loads more...

My 7 year old Kia Cee'd sport estate. It towed our caravans, seats down it's like a Transit for carrying junk and has a chain driven camshaft.

1938 Auto Union Type D. No question.

Failing that, Santa, please can I have Tim Birkin's 4.5litre Blower Bentley No1, but only in BRG.

I'll wait in tomorrow for your delivery.
.

I love my Xantia V6. They have a unique blend of speed with a very smooth ride and are quite compact. Mine is getting old now but I keep it as pristine as possible and even after 140000 miles it runs like new. Only about 60 still running in the UK.

Well I have had some fast motors and some nice motors and some not so nice but I wish I had my GTC Sri 2.0 TD still. I think it was possibly the best car I ever had and really should have taken it on a track day to see how trick the trick front end really was but I probably dont have the bottle now, I certainly checked out on the public roads haha

I'm with Tes. I love the car I have and can't think of one I would prefer - although after this summer aircon would be good and I'd like cruise control.

So I guess if money was no object then I'd like a new one Mitsubishi Outlander 4 Shame there's no LPG conversion on it now though.

Ooh look at that - change out of 30K - maybe I need a new car more than a new van!
