Fitted radio

+1 here for CDs. If I had to put my collection on a USB I'd be at it for years instead of travelling. Also time consuming to access specific tracks off a stick.

well done but cd players went out with nelsons eye, most folk put it on a pen drive and all new radios have a usb port for such, good luck anyway with music.View attachment 44563
Off topic a bit, after all I’ve plenty of time waiting for Portuguese tanker drivers to return to work.
I saw this £12.79 radio, and thought, worth a try? Anyone got anything to add?

When I sold my T4 I took out my very nice Alpine Radio (with CD ;) ) and bought a head unit very much on the lines of the one in the link - £17 from Amazon - for the sale.
It made noises as required, filled the hole in the dash, and better than nothing, but a decent known-brand radio is not that much more.
Personally speaking, if I were the one who was listening to it, I would spend more and get better. How much is the cost/month if you are keeping for say 5 years?

My parents bought me a Motorola car radio for my 21st birthday. It has push button medium and long wave and by removing a plate I can resolder and change it's polarity.

12 years ago I built an open top kit car, and my plan was to install the Motorola because when the hood is down, who cares about quality of sound. Then I realised the sound would irritate others as I drove past, so I didn't.

It may be useless, but I'll never get rid of it.

Seriously! Or is my leg being pulled.
£13 ain’t going to break the bank if it’s not that good. I wasted more than that on a rubbish Spanish SIM card.
Answers on a postcard. No, on here would be better.

Bassets? Is there a pipe cutter jelly baby now?

If your radio also has DVD capability as well as CD you can use it instead of a separate DVD player to show DVD's on your TV. My motorhome came with this facility already set up.
