Weather Report..................

Hereford was chilly and damp overnight with mainly clear skies and still air.
This morning it was sunny but cloud cover has gradually increased it's share of the heavens above.
And I'm pleased to report that it's now warming up nicely in anticipation of more moho-ers arriving tomorrow.
A strange by-product of the autumnal conditions overnight has been the sprouting of toxic yellow fungi in a strangely regular pattern all over the field:

Yep. Apparently the Rowing Club review the attendee list of all rally groups.
If the list doesn't include known problem and/or loud moho-ers, then the posh field is made available to the group.
I don't think you've ever stopped on the posh field, have you Annie?

Hereford has grey cloud with occasional sunshine. The air is incredibly mild and becoming warmer as the day progresses.
I had a lovely bike ride out along National Cycle Route 46 towards Abergavenny yesterday afternoon and hopefully will do something similar later today.

Well the rain and drizzle stopped and it got out lovely sunshine and forecast is to be really sunny over the weekend hopefully the sun will shine up Scotland for us!

We have still air at a temperature of about 14°C here in Hereford right now with a mainly grey sky above us. On the western horizon I can see patches of blue creeping our way.
On a very positive note we have lots of warmness predicted for the weekend.
I just knew that Phil would provide the total Motorhomer Rally experience for us.

Hey !
Things are looking up.
It was a grey 14 degrees at 0800.
Clouds now lifting and a weary glimmer of sunlight is filtering through.
It's more like St George's Day..
WARNING...
There's a test match at Headingley.

The weather has improved hour by hour here at the Motorhomer Hereford Rally to such an extent that we've had pretty much blue sky since about 13:30. And it's very warm!
This afternoon I pottered into Hereford to visit the jazz concert held in the Cathedral gardens:

The fly-sheet for the group says:
"World jazz with an endearing Scots lilt.
Featuring strong themes from Brazil, Morocco and Gaelic cultures".

I was sufficiently moved to offer a rewrite of the fly-sheet:

"World jazz with a pretentious Scots lilt.
Featuring an intriguing yet distinctly downbeat mix of discord and cacophony".

They were obviously saving their best stuff until long after I'd left. Sorry guys.
On a positive note the Cathedral is a beautiful structure and houses the Mappa Mundi. It's a light, airy building:

With modern art in the surrounding gardens:

The weekend here is set fine and hot.
