Weather Report..................

Rain forecast for a couple of hours, during last night
We sat out under a huge Moon, cloudless night.
Shut all the Veluxes just in case.

At 2am, we're both sweltering.. Grumbling, Jenny gets up, opens all the skylights and the door vents.
As she gets back into bed.. A thunderclap !
" Not guilty M'Lud ", says I
After 10 minutes of drizzle, the Moon came out again and that was it.
Huh !
Heavy dew, drying fast. Clear, calm 26 degrees.
Hasn't half freshened up the greenery .

I awoke to rain and a slight breeze with air at about 10°C in Hertfordshire.
By 1100 the rain paused so I put bum on Brompton and pedalled off around the hillier parts of the local countryside.
I was back by 1230 with the threat of rain encouraging me to a higher than usual average speed.
As I sat down to some well-earned tea the rain restarted in earnest - I don't usually get things that well organised! Later today we have thunderstorms and much heavier rain forecast.
Which should be fun.

Colin 🙂🙂🙂

Perfect morning in Palm Desert, 27 degrees and calm, no cloud and heading for 31 degrees. ☀️☀️☀️

I really appreciate and admire the way you avoid even the slightest hint of smugness in your recent posts Bill.
I'm confident that the world at large would benefit from you giving tutorials on your techniques.
Or perhaps you could write a reference book?
Both?

Colin 🙂🙂🙂

12 degrees at daybreak, just 16 as we stubbornly breakfasted.on the terrace.
We had to find a blanket, during the wee small hours.
Northeasterly winds are forecast to stay, bringing cold air from the Spanish Sierras. Max mid- 20s
This is the time for us to do our spring cleaning, before the rains arrive and we can work the garden soil.
The cleaning involved ladders, paint brushes, varnish, furniture and buckets of brownie points.
I'll cash in a few at the pensioners treat, tonight.
If it's a cold walk home, I'll need a brandy or 3 to get me up the hill.
