Milk!

Which ones are the ones you like? It is that sweetness that I find slightly offputting in tea (even though I do use sugar/sweetners anyway!) so I'd like to try the ones you have identified :)
Well, we live in France so you probably won’t see them in the U.K., but we use Bio Village and En Direct des Éleveurs, which is milk from local co operatives in our region.
We used to have unsweetened UHT milk in the U.K. but we had to test quite a few till we found one we liked. We also buy it from our local Lidl which tastes as good. Maybe they have the same milk in U.K. Lidl. Might be worth a try?

I don't drink a, great deal of milk (the odd tea and coffee)

But Swapped over to craven Dale some time back and it seems to last far far better.

Had no issues with Aldi milk recently....lasts no problems. My cousin bottles and delivers milk, and all other dairy products to your doorstep in the Blackburn area (too far from me 😂) He reluctantly says Aldi milk is fine..Maja

I guess it is probably the distribution network that is different in difference areas?

I woke up one day 18 months ago and no longer liked milk in tea, been drinking black tea ever since. Use whitener for coffee. I will make porridge with water then add a bit of double cream before I eat it if I fancy it.
Caz has been with me in the van a while now and she does drink milk. She always buys the ones that are a bit too big for the fridge so would guess it’s either 4 or 6 pint packs. We have not had any go off before it has been used.
I normally keep a carton of long life milk in the van in case I fancy Angel Delight or something, it’s from Aldi and think its Mr Moo. Do have some tinned milk but it’s been in here a couple of years now so will be well at the back of the cupboard 😂😂😂

Hi wildebus, yeah we have noticed milk going off sooner, three tofour days early, kept in fridge all time.

Tesco "Pure" Semi-skimmed for us
It lasts very well and we like the taste.
It usually has a long shelf-life / fridge-life
The "pure" a bit gimmicky but it says it is filtered more.

Will also buy Moo Milk just because of the name !
Cravendale is good but I give it back to the cows !

Try powdered milk of your choice and reduce the use of plastic, most of which ends in the sea.

Just buy Cravendale filtered milk it lasts for weeks, a little dearer but well worth it.
That’s the one mrs gets when they have it. It does stay fresh an awful long time

" Just Milk" skimmed tastes exactly the same as semi skimmed normal milk.Unopened it has months for shelf life. Opened, it has 4 days. Have been looking for a replacement and tried many substitutes ( we are avid tea drinkers) and this is the same in taste with added benefits of long life storage.20200731_211409.jpg
