Yesterday suggested intermittent rain and we had almost nothing. 
Last night we finally enjoyed a downpour. 
A dry start in East Sussex, with a SW breeze, plenty of sunshine and 19° high. Around midday, cloud will develop, bringing scattered showers, some of which may be heavy.

We wanted it, and thankfully it's finally arrived.
The variable light breeze has brought early torrential thundery showers, reducing as the morning wears on, and returning late afternoon, all combined with a 19° high.

We've a dry and bright morning with plenty of bright sunshine, a moderate SW breeze and 19° high.
It'll turn cloudy and windy during the afternoon, with a band of rain moving in from the west a little later.
