Has any one purchased the V16 approved beacon for Spain

And most of that £100.65 is taxes and tariffs because UK is a Third Country ... There is likely to be an additional charge of £15 upwards for the UK Couriers to deal with the import paperwork [based on late 2021 tariffs]

Correct. Except it doesn't say "should" in that particular rule either.

It says "if your vehicle breaks down..... put a warning triangle"

No should, could you, would you possibly if it's not too much trouble etc.

That's the point. If you are not required to do it, it isn't a requirement, just advice.

I'm really not sure where you see "if you want to" in the sentence that says "put a warning triangle"

It isn't there. Nor is "You must". That's the point.

I did the same. Seems a sensible precaution and small and lightweight so easy to stow on board.
