Headliner help

the headlining in our 2010 Romahome R20 has started to come adrift from the foam underneath (I think) and is therefore quite saggy. We did have a leak from the rear roof light, so not sure if this was the cause.
Does anyone know of a way of repairing this without having to take the whole lot out? Or is there a company that can do a total reline of the inner roof?

Thanks, Liz

Could you not make a small incision and spray some contact adhesive into the pocket couting both pieces.Im sure you can get this with a straw on the end of the spray nozzle.

thanks for the suggestion Scotia, I had tried that on a small section, but the glue just leaches through the fabric and makes a mess! So i wasn't sure what else to try, or if there was a firm who could replace the whole headlining for me.

There are videos on Youtube to walk you through the procedure. Here is one.

thanks maingate for the link, but they nearly all show solutions which involve taking the lining and adjacent foam out. This will be a very big job for us, so we'll have to keep thinking about it!

You could try a boat renovation company who often specialise in this sort of thing, I don't think it would be cheap though.

This company are in Dorset but if you search online there should be several that do it;

Just try a google search on 'Boat headlining replacement'.

Or you could consider carpet lining;

As well as carpet lining they also do a sort of suede lining. From their website;

"In addition to our remarkable carpeting, we offer a luxurious suede lining available in a range of three captivating shades. Backed by a plush 3mm foam layer, it’s perfect for headliners that not only look stunning but also provide a delightful tactile experience."

Might be worth an inquiry?

My head could do with headlining. With hair.

Pudsey Bear, thank you so much for that suggestion, not sure why I didn't think of it before. And there are some firms near us, including two in our part of town, I'll pop round and have a chat whenthis bought of covid leaves me.
You're very welcome.
