Sorry to hear about Mr Mole. We had one in Cambridge who became fed up with my constantly treading down his tunnels and moved away.

Here in East Sussex, a badger decided to start a set in our garden and began digging cone shaped holes. I read that they don't like male pee, and so I visited him at every possible opportunity. He quickly moved away, and I heard that various neighbours are now enjoying his attentions.

Southerly winds making it a lot milder now, and tis raining in Devon. The rain should ease off by midday leaving a cloudy afternoon with a high of 10 degrees.

This morning started with the brightest red sky we'e seen for a long time, but gone in a flash.

The moderate southerly breeze will bring a milder 8° to East Sussex, but at the cost of rain, turning even heavier from late morning until last thing at night.
