Yes Kev, it's very warm in The Weald of Sussex too, where a.fledgling coal tit spent the day trying to survive under a hydrangea, not yet able to fly.

Another bone dry day with with a bright blue sky, tje lightest breeze, and a 28° high.

At 3.30am a fox cub barked below our bedroom window.

Another day of intense sunshine with a bright blue sky, a light easterly, and 30° high. No sign of a thunderstorm here either.
