Can I draw Members' attention to the warning to turning the ignition key on [Page 4 IIRC] and WAITING for the warning lights, including the AIRBAG ECU light, to extinguish BEFORE starting the engine. If I had done that, I wouldn't have blown the ECU last November and I would have avoided a bill of £1332. If the Airbag light remains illuminated at the first ignition position, and all other warning lights have extinguished, it means that the Vehicle/Starter Battery voltage is too low and must be recharged before starting the engine
