Campervans to be allowed to park overnight as pilot scheme agreed

The scheme will allow self-catering campervans and motorhomes to park overnight at the site for a voluntary fee of £7.

Unless I'm misunderstanding what happened, the council approval reads as "Agreed in principle, subject to the proposed plan being discussed in March 2026 to allow time for budget checks and input from the community".

I wonder if that means only the local community, or anyone anywhere who dislikes the idea of basic 'aire' type schemes.

My reading is that the pilot plan will go ahead but that the proposed additional site is subject to discussion in March 2026.
