200GB of mobile data for £60 from EE

Two years ago I was fortunate to find an EE data plan that gave 50GB of data and had a 50% discount applied. This cost me £27 per month. I use far more than 50GB per month and have to use my 30GB tethering on my 3 mobile phone too. EE did upgrade my account to 64GB last year for just an extra £1, but I was still having to buy add-ons. In November and December, I used well over 100GB.

Today I had a great call with EE and have signed up for an EE 4gee home wifi plan. The plan can be used in a motorhome and is not locked to your home address. It is an 18-month contract and I am getting a whopping 200GB of high-speed data. They have given me a 40% discount to replace my previous 50% discount. This means that I will be paying £60 per month instead of the £100 normal charge.

That is 3.33GB per £1

I know that many of you will never use 200GB of data in a month, but it does mean that I can be more generous with sharing my data if we are in locations where members cannot get service.

I'm parked next to him and he's not sharing in fact this morning he ran out of data and used mine lol I'm such a caring sharing member ??

Interesting.

If it's a 'home wifi' plan - how does that equate to Mobile Broadband usage? (I'm assuming you're actually connecting to EE via mobile?)

Was it a special deal they did for an existing customer? (I've been with Orange/EE for nearly 20 years).

oh - and are you stuck with using the EE hardware? We're considering a motorhomewifi Mobile BB aerial fitment with the Huwai MiFi, I wonder if the EE account would work through that?

that does sound good phil & i can understand you needing all that data is there a similar package for those of us with a more moderate use ie 10-20go and is it good for europe?

We have 50Gb with EE like Phil's first deal for £24.50......in Spain now and only allowed to use 15Gb a month under the "Fair usage policy" Apparently, if you pay Voda lots more money you get more Gb abroad......Maja

Is it just me, I'm happy with SIM free 1gb, £7.50 per month, I need to get out more, but never needed any more.

:( :(:(

Cracking deal Phil, needed for your special use. ie setting up a local network for us members to use, on occasion.

For individual use (Rugby Ken) take a look at "3" they have a totally unlimited 3/4g package for £23 a month ( 30gb if tethering) but USB/Micro USB is not classed as tethering.

Look out for offers Annie-glipter managed to get the same deal under £15 but she is from Yorkshire :)

Good deal Phil you sound well impressed. Personally would never use that much have 3g and never use it all, mind you that's just on my phone.

I got the same deal for my Daughter on Black Friday for £18 per month. The problem is that you cannot use that SIM card outside a mobile phone. When you tether to the SIM you only get 30GB of data.

To use the the card for true mobile data you must have a mobile data SIM.

I was told I could have it at £25 any time of 2018 .And I could use it for my phone .
but could connect to my tv with a connection to hdmi and stream Netflix with out using any data .
which would be good for us .

my present contract with tesco is carp so going to cancel that and get one..this week..
