Hi,
We are new to the world of motorhomes after 29 years Caravaning (last 11 with a Bailey Arizona). We intend on being more 'off-grid' and so want to have the largest gas bottles as possible.
We have a deposit left on a 2022 Bailey Autograph 3 79-4t which is being collected at the end of the month.
Any documentation I can find recommends 2 x 6kg gas bottles. Does anyone have any experience of fitting larger bottles in and if so what size will fit.
Many thanks in advance for any help.

We had a Bailey Autograph Approach 625 and from memory 2 x 6kg was all you could fit. Maybe best to wait & see, just in case you can cram one larger one in next to a 6kg.

I'm hoping to fit refillable bottles when I pick it up from a private seller. I will then be driving back to Liverpool to catch a ferry back to Ireland. There is no gas bottles in it at the minute and it's going to be very cold waiting in Liverpool overnight for the ferry if I don't have gas for the heat.

Give Charlie a call at Autogas 2000 in Thirsk, he will tell you what goes in if they have done one.

Just got a definitive answer on the locker size.
Inside dimensions
Width 680mm,
height 650mm,
depth 330mm
Door opening 580mm wide, 450mm high
The 11kg Gasbank cylinders are
571mm high x 300mm
And the 5kg are
495mm high x 230mm
So I've got to decide, do I go with an 11kg and a 5kg or two 11kg bottles.

If the locker is big enough to take a larger volume, bu tthe door limits it, then it is possible you could get a larger locekr door fitted, loads of used ones on Ebay.

Or you could maybe fit a refilable tank under the chassis.
