3 mobile £5 a day

Has anyone used £5 a day unlimited tethering, downloading etc while travelling abroad.

that could work out rather expensive! Is it £5 regardless of how much or little data you use in a day then £5 for the next day?

I use a Three 12gb data SIM which is valid for a year and we used about 7gb in a short 12 day break in Spain recently. We don't attempt to stream films etc. I have the next one ready to use, bought from My memory somewhat cheaper than from Three.

We hardly use calls and text while abroad but you can buy various add-on packages for a payg Three SIM that lasts 30 days which allows tethering which I be never tried as we use the huawei mifi

It is an addition to normal usage sim. When you start downloading - 2 hours tv approx 1gb. We actually have the 12 gb on phones which I use constantly - google maps etc etc If you factor in going to cafe restaurants etc to use WiFi - which often isn’t great, the cost isn’t that much. In that 24 hours you could easily download a weeks worth of tv. So once a week - timed correctly would get you all the tv you need. We’re not big drinkers so tend not to go out at night, especially at the moment - blowing a gale and ppp ersistantly raining. so also take away cost of bar alcohol and the price isn’t that great. I just want to be sure that addition doesn’t use the data I have first - if you get my drift.
As for getting local payg sims - so far. Are up with 10 gb for €11 - so not that cheap.
