3way fridge

So, my fridge when running on LPG makes a fluttering noise as if it’s constantly trying to light.
I have had it running for 3 hours and it seems cold
Do I need to be concerned and what is likely to be the problem

I've had exactly the same. A quick look revealed that the little slotted cover over the flame had corroded away such that it wasn't controlling the flame.
I changed the whole burner assembly which includes jet, thermocouple and sparker for around £80 (IIRC). Make sure you buy exactly the right part number as there are a number of variants which all look quite similar. I managed the replacement from outside the van by removing the lower vent. A couple of grazed knuckles but not too tricky.

That sounds useful although it’s beyond my skill set but hopefully not too difficult to get done hopefully.
Biggest problem will probably be, we’re due to go to Bristol balloon festival next Thursday and going away for 4 nights without a fridge may present some difficulty

I had the same thing a few years back, I just cleaned the flue and the nozzle, and it has been perfect ever since

If you want a reliable fridge get a compressor one. way more efficient and 100% more reliable .
