Can you not just use straps Gordon ?

If it is going to fall towards a forward wall when braking hard it needs less support other than to stop it from rolling on bends, if not then a strong plate will be needed, only had one van with a garage and it used the mounting points for the bike rack.

Is your fresh water tank under the island bed ? I had a panel that I can remove and use a central bolt fixing from the water tank side thru this panel, eight screws and a homemade flat bracket with a 12 mm bolt coming thru !
Works a treat,
Double wheels also means I have room for the jack and tools! In the wheel well

I would just weld a plate up with 2 studs, screw the plate to the bulk head,a few hooks and bungie may work if tight, screw two blocks to the floor to stop it rolling when bungied.

Joking apart, Google for caravan/MH breakers gaff, see if you can pick one up using that route, or I could use mine as a template and look at putting one together when evening classes commence, I’ll sneak in the back door.

It ain't got one I've just bought a rim and new tyre it got a puncture kit thingy terry
Obviously you have not been paying attention at the back, probably on your mobile phone when I said, make sure your next MH purchase is a quality brand name, honestly, I do my best, but if they don’t listen and buy crap, additions required 🧐

Two singles andy there's space between the gas locker o/s and boiler cupboard n/s in middle of garage I can fix the spare and jack etc inside rim and was going to put a wedge at one side to stop any movement if it did happen

Gordon, this is what I did. I have no facility for a spare, and found that when I bought one and layed it on the floor of the garage it stained the plastic chequer and jumped around a bit on speed humps etc. I made some calls and Hymer/Fiat do not do any underneath mounts for our model due to lack of clearance.
I did not want to drill any floor or wall panels. So I obtained a spare wheel carrier off eBay (I believe they are the carriers Fiat use to deliver the spare wheel on a chassis cab and the converter flogs them off. I think I paid £15 off eBay. Included the centre nut.)

I made a frame from ply. At the bottom of the vertical section I held in place by using the cargo rail and t nuts. I made sure the weight of the wheel was taken on the floor by using packing. The horizontal ply sits on the garage floor and rests exactly against the rear garage wall so cannot move forward or backward. The only drill holes I made were for two bolts thro the centre front section of the garage wall. This is a strong section of the internal furniture as it is the steps between the beds. So all the weight is down to the floor, the ply keeps it from moving sideways or back and forward. When it comes to selling I can easily remove it and leave barely any trace.
Don’t get excited, I’m only doing this as I don’t like you 👊
