A few snaps of Lochore meadows today

Lochore is a tad over 10 miles from home for us [nip back to use the toilets ...]. We did attend a Rally there last year, and paid the normal site fee of £10 without EHU [EHU costs are around £13.50pn] but, if you stay 5 nights, you pay only for 4, and you can carry the discount over, i.e.our next stay will have the first night free, because the details are 'on the system'

Bad news is that the CDP gets blocked regularly. Good news is that there is a [fairly ancient] single cubicle WC within 50m of the main Rally Field [the building in the 3rd photo], and a very modern multi WC Facility attached to the Cafe/Willy Clark Centre, about 350m from the Rally Field, open from about 9am IIRC

There are some good bike rides around the Country Park' all graded, albeit some of the signposting is a bit hit and miss; despite the Lake Area being mobbed at weekends, it's easy to get into the countryside and away from crowds once you get past the Cafe complex. This starts immediately to the right of The Laird's final picture

Lochore Meadows this morning. Cold wind sweeping over the Loch but still the intrepid swimmers go in. It was too cold to go any nearer or wait till they were actually swimming!
