No, unix was the first sys, linux uses its own kernal and has done so for years, it was developed from the unix idea, time for you to read up on whats going on big ears Lol, this site you are on now is linux and one of the best.Don't you mean Unix
Back up lad back up, do try lite and i will help you, not clunky but does require some small bit of tinkering once installed, removal of icons on screen, keyboard change from usa to uk and download of restricted extras, removal of dust bin from main screen and then added to task bar,Thanks Trev, no I'll stick with win10 for now until I'm forced to upgrade to Win11, I have tried one of them in the past but clunky didn't describe it, I do have a couple of spare laptops I just don't see the point.
