So far the trim in the toilet sorted. Stuck passenger seatbelt sorted. Fridge door that swings open on bends sorted. Stupid designed water dump valve finally arrived and will be sorted at the dealer next week. That will be six weeks with no water. So alls good......or would be. I did try to get away at the weekend. Bought a water carrier so at least I can wash and clean dishes! Oh not so fast! Turned the gas on, all was ok then the flame dipped to a tiny flame. No matter how high we turned the hob,no difference. Weird, im sure I put a new bottle on a month ago. Changed the bottle and it worked fine. Then in the morning again, tiny flame little gas pressure I think. So another weekend ruined. So until the water valve is sorted I have no heating, hot water, cant cook and no fridge. Quality motorhome? I dont think. Anyway I think it may be a well known issue Truma Regulator Monocontrol CS. Does this sound the likely fault and anyone had a similar problem? I did call and email the dealer yesterday and was promised a call today. You can guess the answer....no call no return email. As usual, they just dont seem to give a f%%% when they have your money.

Apparently after the 30days you have to allow the dealer to fix it. Once the right to reject period is up, the consumer must look to the tiered remedies and here there is a significant change. The vendor has only one opportunity to repair or replace the goods at the consumer’s request and cannot charge the consumer for this, must carry out the repair or the replacement within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience. If the repair fails or a replacement part isn’t available or possible, then the consumer has the right to a price reduction or a final right to reject the goods. So, if the problem still exists, you can reject the motorhome. There is a qualifying clause that states that the consumer cannot demand a full replacement vehicle rather than a repair if this creates a disproportionate burden. The clearest case for this is if there is a faulty part that can be replaced easily, then you have to accept the repair first. So I have to let them repair it first but its now had two big faults and has caused me a lot of inconvenience.

My rejection of new van was based on payload substantially less than in brochure. How may people take the van with dealer to a weighbridge before accepting ?
In fairness the dealer was as surprised as myself and the manufacturer (Lunar) provided a replacement built on a Alko chassis giving more payload than the brochure. It took five months for them to do this as I wanted the van not a refund.

I may be barking up the wrong tree (I often do) but I have to ask.....you are using propane gas?
Butane gives low pressure when cold and freezes when really cold.
