Any one else Missing Spain ?

We booked for 25th November Newhaven to Dieppe crossing to travel to Benicarlos, but 10 days before sailing [after we'd paid for Breakdown & Travel Insurance + House Insurance cover extension], the Airbag ECU blew. By the time we found a replacement ECU and had it fitted, the prohibition on travel to France had happened, so it's looking like November 22 for the next attempt. Like an Expedition to Everest, but without the vertigo ... :D

Yes we are... not having gone down earlier this year.

We normally go Jan - March and are all set to leave on the 11th Jan coming up but that is looking doubtful that it will happen then.

We will still go as soon as we are able to as long as we can get away before it gets too hot!

My mate left from Portsmouth to Spain on Tuesday then driving on to Portugal. He sent a text with a image showing there were plenty of motorhomes with a few caravans on the ferry

We were in the queue for DFDS last 'night' crossing out of Newhaven but while sat waiting to board and after a conversation with one of their guys decided to turn back. Did he have inside info from Macron? But what he said came true a few days later.

Managed to get a Brittany Ferries crossing to Santander a couple days later, it's lovely and warm here in Murcia.

As for Macron, I've stopped drinking Pernod and eating French cheese, Macron can stick his Angles Mort stickers and snow chains somewhere.

They have arrived at Praia da Luz site and advise nice and sunny, no problems on route. Happy New Year to one and all
