I like to play now and then on apps or in books, but this just left me confused, not that it takes much these days.

My WiFi password is a line of a solved sudoku puzzle, with a 0 on the end. See if you can guess it lol

Not seen this "thermo" suduko :) It was quite fun once I got the gist. (I used to do the "Samurai Sudoko" in the Saturday Times, which was good, but usually ended up finishing it on the Sunday :D
Link to Samurai ... https://www.samurai-sudoku.com/

I'll give that look tomorrow, looks hard though.

I'm just doing another 'thermo' one now. certainly a bit different to the normal suduko! (The current one I have restarted at least twice so far after going wrong!).

I just didn't understand it David, so after awhile I had to stop, I may have a go in the morning when I'm more alert.

I've become semi-obsessed with Thermo Suduko now! And each game seems to take hours!!

Doing some more suduko and actually as I learn more techniques and methods, I am getting a bit put off and bored with it :(.
Found out yesterday there is this "starfish" (or something) pattern, which means if a number is in certain places, you can eliminate it from a whole bunch of other places that you would not realise unless you knew this pattern.

It is starting to get much more about remembering mathematical techniques and tricks and less about just having a bit of fun solving a puzzle :(

Heres another one

I am just replying again to say never post anything like this again!!:mad::confused:

I am now wasting way way too much time playing all these Suduko puzzles on that site and it is stopping me doing far more useful things :(

(Exactly what "useful" things I don't know, but that is not the point :) )

You won't want this then I tend to do one on there now and then, keeps the bearing lubed.

I used to do the Samurai Sudoku in the Times. Just do, not always complete.
I like Jigsawdoku in the i newspaper, but can't find any online versions that are any good. The i Jigsawdoku book says it contains 5 Samurai Jigsawdokus.

I liked that one as well. And sometimes managed to finish by the Sunday!

If you have an Android Phone/Tablet, try the app "MultiSudoku". That is a neat little app, not plagued by ads and interuptions after each game and also is the only one I have seen so far to have multi-boards/grids, such as the Samurai Suduko (as well as that 5-grid one, it has 4, 3, 2 and regular 1 grid games.

I like to knock out the daily couple from The Torygraph.
It gives a reason to stop and get on with something else.
The books and programs are addictive..
It Keeps the head cogs grinding.
If I have Insomnia, or
a long, boring wait,
I do a mental version of the 9 letter word puzzle, every shorter word having a chosen letter in it.
Currently :
CDE I
R
NOTU ..
4 +letters words
3 or less don't count.
No plurals , so " Turds" is out
No apostrophies.
Makes waiting a pleasure.
Can't wait until bedtime.
Though I've been taking it apart for over a fortnight.

When you start featuring some of the extra little games within a Suduko game, as shown in the Cracking the Cyptic channel, such as the grids, the german whispers, the renban lines, black and white dots, etc, the game goes way past just trying to find unique numbers.
Substituting letters for numbers is much too simple :D

I saw one yesterday called Blockduko.

I'd like to play Sudoku, but I don't hve the figure for it ... :ROFLMAO:
