Anyone for a barbecue

What a fantastic piece of meat Wully,I bet that just melts in your mouth when it is done, we are on our way 🚗🚙🚗🚙

We don't eat as much as we used to, too bloody expensive now.

Anyone got a recipe for squirrels I’ve caught 5 since yesterday little furry gits Im supposed to kill them but I’ve been dropping them off in one of the more affluent areas of Glasgow 😜 last time I had a cull I caught 17 over 4 days. I’ve promised the daughter I won’t kill them this time. so re homing them in a nice rich area might even drum up a bit of work.

Fried in garlic butter.

Assume that it is lapin, soak it for a couple of hours in vin blanc with a touch of garlic, flash fry and those blessed tree rats are gorgeous with almost anything you wish to serve them with, except perhaps custard. Truly, our local butcher has them, but for a heeland heathen, it's just like wild haggis !!!

A friend used to go hunting in the forest (Shipley Glen) next to our cottage, and would often bring us some already filleted, tastes like chicken :D :D :D

take it to your mate the butcher who makes the pies to put through his slicer !

Must have been a bloody big squirrel that!

(Red ones taste best...)

K ;)
