Both my leisure batteries now only last about 2 days. They are 9 years old. Is it time to replace them? My wife and I are fair weather campers, ie. April to October, so what would be the best battery to buy? We do not have solar panels as we have managed very well with 2 batteries for many years and, anyway, we have no room on the roof. The plan, next year, is to wildcamp for 30 days at a time. Grateful for any advice. Thanks.

9 years is not a bad innings for batteries, you must have e decent charging system that keeps them topped up especially when not on manoeuvres, Personally I like Varta or Bosch products, I only use AGM's, my most recent purchase was a Varta leisure and starter AGM 'hybrid' will see how it goes, Tayna was keen price and next day delivery.

Have you thought about a 50w folding panel to place at the windscreen when parked up, bosch/varta stop start are good batts.
