Best Hab Check ever

I've just had the best hab check in over 10 years and at a far less price than 3 years ago!
Granddad, Son and Grandson team. So bloomin thorough I couldn't belive it.
Apart from the fridge not working on hook up and needing something for the fridge only major thing was damp. And boy is it damp in places! But that was no surprise. Think it will last me until I no longer drive it.
So for someone who researches but doesn't pretend she can do stuff a good result.

In dry weather drill and apply a damp sealer which hardens the floor or panels, then find the cause and fix.(y)
 
hi andromeda . does your fridge work when engine is running if it is the heater element is working so its either a fuse or the pcb that brings the 220v down to 12v to run the fridge . cheyenne
 
As far as I know the 12v and 230v heaters are separate on most fridges for obvious reasons.
 
Fridge is fine on gas; Dave did a great job of sorting it out when he took it out. It just doesn't work on hook up. Could be something worn out inside. Needs a new corroded part but is safe.

hi andromeda . years ago when we had a van conversion & the fridge went belly up we went to a caravan breakers yard & got a superb fridge for less than repairing our old one . Cheyanne
