Probably a stupid question but I bought some washing soap for use in our toilet cassette with a green label assuming green for good for the environment, only to discover it's a non-bio. Duh!
So is it Bio which is harmless to bacteria and so good for chess pits etc
Or
Is it Non-bio as it doesn't kill the, bacteria?
Which is it?
K confused.

The recommendation is usually to avoid bio in a cesspit or septic tank ( probably in chess pits too!) As it destroys the bacteria which deal with the sludge...at least that's my understanding. In the toilet threads people often recommend bio for the tanks but not if it goes into a cesspit.

our septic tank should only get non-bio products as Rec says ;)

Oh well in that case I mistaked right ;)
I wanted something I can dump in public toilets, sometimes in remote rural locations, and basic CL's , that is not "chemical or blue" so non-bio is good then. Hence the green packaging I suppose...
Thanks for that chaps
K ;)

Blue means nothing... One Chems bio offering has an aqueous blue dye...that usually disappears after use.
