I have come across this place today kagyu Samye Ling Tibetan Buddhist monastery and world peace centres in Dumfriesshire, I’ve been to the Manjushri kadampa in Cumbria but never been to this one the difference, the one in Dumfriesshire you can camp there for £19 a night I think this is on the cards when I go to the green frog meet has anyone visited or stayed.

Hi Annie I stayed 7ish + years ago, was staying at my brothers caravan in peebles, went for the day and liked the feel of the place, the grounds, garden, and the chants of there prayers, ended up getting a room for the night, food was basic and i enjoyed my stay, one problem was the noise from the site of a new building but that's in the past, would I go back again, yes and I get a calling to go back just like some other places, sure you will enjoy so if you go post about it if you would
