Butterfly and moths

Has anyone got a recommendation for a book to identify butterflies and moths? Want something easy to use!

What about a ladybird book.Ruth ....the publisher that is.

Hmm..vintage ones available but nothing recent....DK do one. Might find a pocket book to start with. Got a Collins one but soo comprehensive hard to know where to start!

I moved a Hawkmoth out of our road yesterday. It must have thought it was a warm safe place to rest.

Bought the Hoffman and tanner book from eBay. Pocket size which is great, thanks all. Looking at the app too.

The observer books no idea the publisher but photos rather than illustrations
