Just had my renewal come through and it has risen by another £100, this year over £600. That means it has doubled in the last 3 years. Rang AIB today to see if they could get it down but he says not. Had other quotes all around the £400 mark without any discounts, so someone else can have my money.

I'll be doing the same this year I think they are getting to expensive .

I re insured with AIB, Our quote was only £3 more than last year.

There has been a change as Markerstudy is no longer insuring motorhomes. This means that they have to get you quotes from other underwriters. Different underwriters see risks based on their own rules. AIB are not charging you more, they can just not get you a better quote.

But you need to get the best quote for you.

It’s a shame I was insured through them for 6/7 years and the convenience of being able to chat with someone who you felt understood your needs but last year my quote went through the roof I am now with caravan guard who halved my AIB quote.

Took off a named driver and mine decreased by £50 !
Tried other brokers before renewal and some were over double, one wouldn't quote unless I had a second vehicle!
I asked, the young smart arsenal,
"Why do I need another car when I have a and a bus pass and get my shopping 🛍 delivered by Supermarkets?"
He rang off !!!

Got mine now with AXA. £450 including 2 named drivers would have been £380 with no named drivers.

Just renewed with LV. £350, as I have said before they we brilliant when we had moho stolen. That quote was on estimated 5000 Mile's p.a..
