Not seen this mentioned here before, so thought it worth doing so, as it is a safety recall

Affected units start from 05-21-xxxxx, so if you have one supplied before May 2021 I would expect it to outside the recall, but you can check the link above to make sure.
The information in the recall states:
However, I don't know how pro-active this recall was as despite being classed as a "serious fire hazard", I took one out of a '22 Burstner this morning and looked to me like it had been overheating!
If you are not sure what this looks like, it is a small square box maybe 2" wide? Photo below.

I would suggest it is worth having a little look to see if you have one of these, as very often was a standard fit on some brands/models. Can't tell you exactly where to look to check but likely to be close to a B2B or a Power Distribution box such as a Schaudt EBL unit.
The contact address in that recall is now out of date, so maybe if need to, go to the CBE website (www. cbe.it) and look for a contact form or email address.
