central locking

My central locking packed up on the habitation door around 4 months ago, after taking all the door apart and testing the solenoid which was working ok with a supply put on it, so started to trace the cable nightmare, it ended up under the van then through the chassis so no way of following it, started to check wiring where I could see it and all looked ok until where it came up into the van by my leisure batt box, it then went into a rubber boot through the frame and then into the hab door, pulled the boot away and found a joint that someone else had bodged this had twisted and twisted until both wires had snapped inside the boot. Bingo now have central locking back what a game tho.:Thinking_Face_Emoji

I have seen the wires brake on cars between the door and door frame ,caused by the wires twisting every time the door is opened and closed .
