I've not had it that long but use it every night, Wednesday night it was down to 5% so I closed the lid and put it on charge, last night it refused to wake up again, so used the tablet instead.
Took it into the lounge this morning too pics of the info on it and Googled it & loads of info on blank screens, in the meantime I put my ear to the underside and could hear a faint hum so new it wasn't dead then watched the video below.
Hold start button down for 10 seconds
Close lid for 3 seconds
open lid
it worked.
No idea why it did that but happy it doesn't have to go to be repaired.
